During WW1 (1914-1918) she was on charter through Wm Baird & Co. to the Ministry
On 4th December 1925 she was stranded on Goill Rock in the
skerries on the southern approach into Lagavulin on the Isle
of Islay. She was carrying a cargo of barley to the local
distillery. The wreck itself was reputedly sold for £720
although it is still there. Her cargo was sold for £715.
