Not strictly a classic "puffer" but included here as she was essentially used in a similar role during her time with MacBrayne.
Built as Aros Castle to carry both passengers and cargo for Wm Lang of Glengorm on Mull and later re-registered to one of Lang's partners, Martin Orme. Acquired by David MacBrayne in 1887 and renamed Handa, for use on mail services to the Outer Hebrides. Later employed by them on cargo services between Glasgow and the Isle of Mull. She is reported to have been nicknamed (for reasons unknown to me) as "MacBrayne's Gladstone Bag"
She was sold in 1917 to Thomas Ward of Sheffield for breaking but abandoned at sea on 24th December 1917 while on her delivery voyage.
The photograph below shows her in Oban Bay but is undated.
